Sushi Katana

F- Food: is always fresh and consistently good. You can start with the house salad with ginger dressing, hot miso soup and edamame. The salmon skin roll, passion roll and crunchy tuna are delicious with plenty of fish and just the right amount of rice. There are some special rolls not on the menu that are featured daily. Finish off with some creamy green tea ice cream. 

A- Ambiance: Casual and trendy. There are some lounge style tables, great option for a comfy dinner and some sake. Bring a sweater as they tend to have the air conditioning on full blast. There are some flat screen tv’s if you must watch an important game or news.

C- Cost: Best price per value for sushi in the area. Roll range from $6-$12 with generous portions all around. 

T- Time: Generally fast service, unless they are busy, as the everything is made fresh to order. You can call ahead your order or take out as well .They have a great host on the weekends for dinner that can take your order over the phone. 

S-Service: Friendly staff. Generally goos service unless they are extremely busy as this is a small restaurant and the good food will take some time. 

Hawkers Asian Street Fare

F- Food: is pretty tasty, oriental jerk chicken skewer was different, juicy with just the right amount of spices. Five spice fish was interesting, cinnamon taste was prevalent making it different and a good balance with the spiciness of the oriental jerk chicken, basil fried rice was good and fresh. Pan fried chicken pot stickers was very good, tasted fresh. Lettuce wrap was yummy and lightly spice, lettuce was crispy and fresh. Large beer selection

A- Ambiance: casual, families, bring a sweater….AC was on full blast.

C- Cost: $4-6 a plate. Great concept since you can order $30’s worth of food and try a little bit of everything. Sake is a little bit expensive ($13-15)

T- Time: Service started out slow, the server took a while to take our order, but the food didn’t take too long, came out hot and fresh and the busser/food runner came around often with water refills and to clear out the empty plates. I can see where they get busy on weekends and there could be a longer wait. 

S- Service: Waitress was nice, tried to work as fast as she could, since she got busy while we were there. The bus boy was new and tried hard.
We will definitely go back to Hawkers, great concept, good price and great variety! I would like to try the coconut curry shrimp and the udon stir fry next time.

Winter Park Fish Company

F- Food: Consistent and fresh. The grouper cheeks in parchment paper is tender and moist served with couscous and veggies. When available, the grouper kabobs served with coconut rice and beans are consistently fresh, tasty and the perfect portion. The weekly specials always offer something for everyone. Overall the portions are perfect, the fish is fresh and the food is tasty!

A- Ambiance: The decor is very interesting, for a small place it has character, the wooden tables and benches along with the fishing theme suits the menu. The only minor issue is that the kitchen lets all the smoke into the small dining area therefore you smell like food and oven once you leave.There’s outdoor seating with a good fan, therefore if they are full inside you can always grab a seat outside. 

C- Cost: A little pricey for the portions but consistent and always fresh. You know what to expect.

T- Time: You order and pay at the counter and they place your name on your table, efficient, consistently quick delivery of food.

S- Service: Friendly and efficient service. 
We eat here at least twice a month. If you want fresh fish, consistency with the right portion, this is the place for it.

Pom Pom’s Teahouse & Sandwicheria

F- Food: is tasty, original and fresh. The curry chicken on the salad or sandwich is always good. The bread is fresh and always tasty on the pressed sandwiches. The peanut noodle is a great side item, overall good portions. The tea selection is on point and the daily soups are always tasty and original. 

A- Ambiance: Casual, great new art for sale. The small and cozy ambiance is a great place to relax for a bit and enjoy your tea and quick bite. Great place for a late bite on Saturday nights. Also, nice to just stop by for a fresh cup of tea.

C- Cost: Great price for the value, quality and portions. Definitely a great place for an affordable meal. Your meal will be around $10-$12 per person with a drink. 

T- Time: The food comes out generally quickly and the staff is friendly and helpful. 

S- Service: Consistently friendly and on point. The servers are good about paying attention to your table and needs. 

We always enjoy this place, whether we eat a nice pressed fresh sandwich or just stop by for a cup of tea while sitting on the couch for a while it is def a place to always go back to!
